Practice Profile
The practice is based in Clitheroe Health Centre, a purpose built building (1975) with a large and well equipped treatment room. We are a training practice offering a range of educational provision for Medical Students, Hospital Doctors and Registrars in General Practice.

Clitheroe is a town with a population of 14,000 it being the market town for the Ribble Valley, an area covering 200 square miles with a population of 52,000 which includes many isolated villages. The town is some 12 miles away from the nearest local district hospital. The area’s GPs have use of a nearby Community Hospital with clinics by visiting consultants, X-ray facilities and active ancillary departments. The practice is rural, computerised (EMIS), training, dispensing and part of the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Primary Care Trust
We aim to provide high quality personal family medicine. In addition to the full range of NHS services we also offer acupuncture, homeopathy and are able to undertake any form of private medical examination.
